First Script DONE!

My first ever screenplay is complete! It's a TV Pilot titled Summons. I believe you'd call if a Grounded Fantasy, I'm not positive on all the categories just yet. I just submitted it to two contests with editing included. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing what they send back. I know a few people wouldn't appreciate hearing all of what they've done wrong or could do differently on something they worked hard on, but writers usually appreciate it.....When it's done right, that is. ;)

I am really surprised with myself. The first couple days were a touch and go, finding my own technique, learning the ins and outs of formatting and such. I'm still not clear on a few things. Ha ha. But I hope the editing notes will help some of that. I think I started writing this on Mar. 26-27th and I finished on the 7th. Not surprising, after finding an error in formatting, that I was missing a couple pages. Which worked out great, because I had a few more things to add.

Taking a break from writing tonight, aside from this here blog, and will start working on finishing up Book 2 of Descending series. I'm excited about this one, more so than the first, I think. A lot happens that's been building up from the start. Plus, I have a ton of yard work to do, and after weed whacking, writing/typing is a little challenging. So lame.
