It’s finally done! I finished the first draft of The Chase! I am so excited and relieved to have it done. I wanted to have a script done before the year was over, too, but I don’t think that will happen. I need a break and with the chaos of the holiday school breaks coming up, I should probably forget trying to even attempt to finish a project. That said, I have added a paragraph to Transcending (Book 3 Descending series) and I’m considering working on the script I started a couple months ago. Maybe both, just at a slower pace this time around.

The illustrator has gotten back to us with a sample art and its just not the right age group we are looking for. I’ve asked that she tweak it just a little to fit an older age group. Right now it looks like its for pre-schooler readers and I would like for it to be more for 2nd-3rd grade readers. I expect it to be ready for publishing come Spring. I sent it out to a few young ARC readers and have only gotten back positive feedback. It would be so awesome for the book that originated from my daughter’s imagination could do well on Amazon and maybe her school library.

Now, off I go, to work on what, I haven’t decided yet.
